Poem # 112 (Morning Eyes)

Your smile is my sunshine
The start of my day, my life, a gift from heaven, divine
When we first met, we didn’t even say hello just stood staring
Like, ‘what was the other thinking?’
Your smile was so bright had me trapped like deer
In headlights, just frozen watching as you stepped near
You giggle but still no words
Its like you were death the way my life flashed before my eyes
Its like you were life because you were beautiful beyond words
Its like from now on all my bright days will come from your smile and all my mornings will start from your eyes.
